Hey everyone! Lately, I’ve been writing down some stuff that’s been happening in my life and decided to make it a challenge for you all to do.
Here’s what you do:
- Get a journal and pick a specific person you want to write to. You must name them ‘friend’.
- Next, pick an alias for you to name yourself in the journal entries.
- If you mention someone you and your “pen pal” know in one of the journal entries, make an alias for them as well.
- You must write for a whole month.
- You can choose to write about the following:
- Specifically about them
- What happened during the day
- Someone you love
- Your favorite band and their activies
- WHATEVER YOU WANT :D
You can write to whoever and about whatever for a whole month in a journal. At the end of the month (or 30 days), if you want, you can hand the journal entries to the person you are writing to. You also may put the journal entries on tumblr and tag #PerksofWritingChallenge (I’ll track it :P)
I really have been benefiting from this because I get things off my chest. Things I can’t normally tell anyone. So go ahead and try it! Give feedback as well :) Have fun!
